Position Overview
This role involves performing both routine and advanced analytical tests on biopharmaceutical finished products and raw materials. You'll adhere to company procedures and regulatory guidelines, including cGMP, while ensuring data integrity and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out testing procedures per established methods and SOPs, maintaining compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation within work orders and record all results accurately in the electronic Laboratory Information System or Client’s Certificate of Analysis for QA review.
- Collaborate effectively with the analyst team and communicate progress and issues clearly with supervisors and peers.
- Manage daily work priorities to meet scheduled deadlines efficiently and ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist in investigating test failures under guidance and maintain all calibrated and qualified lab equipment properly.
- Prepare study documents—including protocols, reports, and SOPs—with minimal supervision and accurately record data promptly.
- Lead or participate in technical discussions with clients, and proactively notify management if workload cannot be completed on schedule or as expected.
- Execute method verifications, validations, and transfers according to approved protocols independently.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
- More than one year of relevant experience handling complex tasks within analytical roles.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC and ELISA techniques is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent time management and detail orientation skills.
- Comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Foundational understanding of protein biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, and/or biophysics.
Additional Information
Compensation: Hourly rate ranging between $26.00 and $27.00.
