Biology Researcher

Position Overview

This contract role seeks an experienced Biology Researcher to contribute remotely with flexible working hours ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week. Compensation ranges between $80 and $90 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and offer comprehensive feedback on biology-related data, prompts, and content used within AI development processes.
• Develop, assess, and enhance scientific scenarios, queries, and explanations that illustrate complex biological challenges found in real-world situations.
• Provide expert insights to ensure the precision, pertinence, and comprehensiveness of AI training datasets and outputs specific to biology.
• Work closely with platform teams aimed at resolving ambiguities and elevating data quality, scope, and representation concerning biological topics.
• Record methodologies, observations, and reasoning to support transparency and reproducibility in deliverables.
• Engage in repeated review cycles and continuous assessments to improve AI system performance in the biological field.

Qualification Requirements

• Possession of a PhD in Biology or a closely aligned life science area.
• Established expertise in foundational biological concepts along with the capacity to contextualize complex subjects for varied audiences.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills that enable clear expression of scientific evaluations and reasoning.
• Experience in analyzing scientific data, critically reviewing research literature, and synthesizing intricate biological information.
• Demonstrated capability to work autonomously while reliably producing high-quality results within specific project guidelines.
