Job description
About the Company
Cervos Medical develops minimally invasive orthobiologic solutions that are cleared by the FDA and manufactured in the United States. Its products are designed to support the body’s natural healing processes for bone repair, joint preservation, and chronic pain management.
Role Overview
The Biologics Account Manager is responsible for expanding revenue in an assigned territory by promoting Cervos’s orthobiologic portfolio to surgeons, interventional specialists, and other healthcare providers. This is a consultative, procedure-focused sales position that combines clinical credibility, direct support during procedures, and structured account management. The company is hiring for several territories across the country and is open to candidates from multiple markets.
The ideal candidate is at ease in clinical settings, can clearly discuss the science behind autologous biologics, and is skilled at developing long-term relationships with physicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and surpass sales goals within the assigned territory across the full Cervos product range.
- Create and carry out a territory plan by identifying target accounts, prospecting new opportunities, and converting prospects into customers.
- Deliver clinical and procedural support in person, including case coverage and training sessions for physicians and support staff.
- Explain the science, procedural approach, and supporting evidence for autologous orthobiologic treatments to clinicians.
- Develop trusted relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons, office staff, and purchasing stakeholders.
- Handle the complete sales process, including pricing conversations, contract completion, and coordination with distribution partners when needed.
- Keep CRM records current and accurate for pipeline activity, accounts, and sales actions.
- Act as the company representative at conferences, trade shows, and educational events.
- Work closely with marketing, customer service, clinical education, and operations teams to support a smooth customer journey.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in medical device, biologics, or a related clinical sales role; experience in orthobiologics, regenerative medicine, spine, orthopedics, or sports medicine is highly desirable.
- Proven history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
- Comfortable working in clinical and procedural environments, including operating rooms.
- Existing relationships within the local clinical network are a strong advantage.
- Excellent consultative selling, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing a territory independently.
- Must be willing to travel frequently within the assigned territory, including overnight travel when required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
Compensation & Benefits
The role offers a competitive base salary along with an uncapped commission and incentive structure tied to territory performance. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
Equal Opportunity
Cervos Medical is committed to equal employment opportunity. All qualified candidates will be considered without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
