Role Overview
We are looking for a remote Billing Coordinator based in the U.S. to join our team. This role involves managing billing data accurately, verifying insurance information, and ensuring timely completion of billing-related tasks within the healthcare domain.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm EST.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter billing data accurately using proficient 10-key data entry skills.
- Compare billing information against source documents for accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve missing or incorrect billing details.
- Verify and update insurance information to facilitate prompt payments.
- Complete daily and weekly billing tasks on schedule.
- Maintain and update billing demographic data to ensure payments are processed without delays.
- Communicate proactively via phone with clients and patients to address and resolve billing discrepancies.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or an equivalent certificate.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in alpha-numeric data entry using 10-key skills.
Additional Standards
- Prior experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is advantageous.
Application and Compensation
The application window will close on July 17, 2026. Compensation ranges from $17.75 to $21.00 per hour, with offers determined by candidates' skills, experience, educational background, internal equity, and market standards.
