About the Role
Join The TJX Companies, Inc., a Fortune 100 leader in the off-price retail industry, as a Big Ticket Associate at our HomeGoods store in Warner Robins, GA. You will play a key role in executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring that merchandise is processed efficiently and effectively by the team, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position involves fostering teamwork and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to all shoppers, creating a positive experience.
- Uphold a culture of integrity and confidentiality.
- Manage truck deliveries and prioritize moving merchandise onto the sales floor promptly.
- Train and mentor associates on merchandising and merchandise processing protocols.
- Ensure all merchandise is accurately tagged, hung, secured, and coded in line with standards.
- Collaborate with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain a smooth flow of goods to the sales floor.
- Oversee that associates follow store plans by completing assigned tasks, prioritizing as necessary.
- Monitor team productivity and provide coaching when needed.
- Organize and rotate back stock to facilitate easy replenishment.
- Maintain merchandising philosophy, signage standards, and backroom organization, cleanliness, and recovery.
- Comply with recycling and hazardous waste procedures where applicable.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding priorities and progress.
- Offer and receive constructive feedback and recognition.
- Assist management in identifying and addressing training requirements to improve associate effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Encourage participation in credit and loyalty programs.
- Support store initiatives aimed at shrink reduction.
- Maintain a safe working environment by promoting safety awareness.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Experience in training others.
- Minimum of one year of retail experience and six months in a leadership or supervisory role.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting hourly wage ranges from $14.00 to $14.50, with the precise rate based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
