Job Description
This role requires a skilled specialist to oversee the daily management of U.S.-based Amazon and Walmart Marketplace seller accounts. The position merges marketplace account operations with customer service responsibilities, demanding proficiency in Amazon FBA and/or Walmart Marketplace operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Amazon FBA and Walmart Marketplace accounts.
- Monitor account health and quickly address any issues.
- Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and maintain performance standards.
- Resolve listing suppressions, policy infractions, and account alerts.
- Coordinate product launches and updates to listings.
- Manage inventory availability to avoid stock shortages.
- Handle stranded inventory and fulfillment-related problems.
- Monitor pricing and optimize Buy Box performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams on marketplace projects.
- Create and optimize product listings, including titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend attributes.
- Perform keyword research to enhance search rankings.
- Manage product images and content uploads.
- Conduct bulk listing updates and troubleshoot listing errors.
- Manage product variations and attributes.
- Respond professionally and promptly to customer inquiries and messages.
- Handle order-related issues such as returns, exchanges, and refunds.
- Manage customer reviews and feedback appropriately and escalate complex matters to management.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction metrics.
- Coordinate inventory tracking, replenishment planning, and resolve discrepancies.
- Track inbound shipments and monitor fulfillment performance.
- Assist with inventory forecasting and prepare weekly marketplace performance reports.
- Analyze sales trends and conversion rates to identify operational improvements.
- Report account-related issues and suggest recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years of recent, practical experience managing U.S.-based Amazon FBA and/or Walmart Marketplace seller accounts for established brands.
- Direct hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central (U.S.) and Walmart Marketplace Seller Center platforms.
- Strong background in Amazon FBA operations and marketplace customer service.
- Proficiency in inventory management and listing optimization techniques.
- Experience using flat file uploads for bulk listing adjustments.
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Helium 10 software.
- Experience using Jungle Scout tools.
