This role focuses on supporting benefit design, strategy development, implementation, and thorough documentation of benefit program expansions globally, including the United States. The scope covers financial benefits, health and welfare programs, and time-off initiatives. The position is an individual contributor role responsible for multiple key Expansions and M&A projects to help meet Amazon's rapidly growing business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the benefits manager by supporting strategy, program management, and benefit design that aligns with Amazon's Global Benefits Framework, market standards, and regulatory compliance, while adapting to unique expansion requirements.
- Contribute to creating detailed written proposals and cost analyses by gathering input from diverse internal stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of approved benefit programs, including selection and onboarding of benefit providers, project planning, resource coordination, and documentation of processes and policies during the transition phase to regional benefits administration.
- Assist with benefit integration during acquisitions in countries where Amazon already has established benefit programs.
- Ensure benefit programs comply with Amazon's philosophy and local laws, monitor costs, financial impacts, funding needs, and competitiveness, and uphold best practices.

This includes partnering with operational, compliance, and systems teams to develop and apply new benefit proposals, conducting compliance evaluations, and tailoring programs to unique expansion needs. The role demands strong collaboration with international benefits colleagues, internal teams, external consultants, and suppliers to deliver an excellent benefits experience for Amazon employees.
