Role Responsibilities
- Report punctually as per the scheduled roster, presenting a neat appearance with correct uniform and name badge.
- Adhere strictly to company policies related to conduct, health, safety, and security.
- Execute tasks assigned by Senior Porter or de Chef Concierge diligently.
- Notify management of guest arrivals and departures promptly.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to customer requests to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Promptly address guest issues and follow up to confirm their resolution and contentment.
- Set a professional example within the department at all times concerning demeanor and attitude.
- Assist guests in making restaurant reservations both within the resort and externally.
- Organize tours, excursions, and car rentals for guests.
- Maintain adequate beach towel stock at the lower reception and regularly monitor it.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby, luggage room, departure lounge, entrance, furniture, and equipment constantly.
- Deliver luggage, messages, and parcels promptly.
- Operate and maintain the club car according to hotel policies.
- Handle company financial responsibilities prudently and comply with budgetary guidelines.
- Remain conscious of cost implications regarding workplace decisions.
- Participate actively in recycling paper materials within the workplace.
- Report any irregularities related to limousine and club cars to the Front Office Manager.
- Observe all local and company regulations concerning fire, health, and safety protocols.
- Attend related training sessions as required.
- Report and ensure follow-up on any equipment defects.
- Keep fire exits and stairways clean, tidy, and accessible at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess middle or secondary education along with additional relevant training or certifications.
- Have at least one year of experience in the hotel industry.
- Previous experience in luxury resort settings is essential.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong cleaning and maintenance skills.
- Physical endurance to meet job demands.
- High attention to detail.
- Effective time management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluency in English and at least one other language, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of a third language is advantageous.
