Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a committed and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join an established alternative provision center located in Bury, England. This is a long-term, full-time position aimed at supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges by fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer individualized and group support to learners presenting challenging behaviours.
  • Develop and apply bespoke behaviour management strategies to encourage positive behavioural changes.
  • Work collaboratively with educators to design and evaluate individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Track and document student progress, providing updates to senior management.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to advance mentoring skills.

Qualifications and Experience
