Role Importance

This position is key to driving maximum sales and awareness of beauty products and services offered at Shoppers Drug Mart.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and promote awareness of current promotional programs.
• Maintain an enthusiastic approach to selling beauty products.
• Encourage customers to participate in the PC Optimum loyalty program to boost sales.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers and colleagues.
• Always prioritize customers, delivering outstanding service.
• Use eClienteling techniques actively to enhance customer engagement.
• Market products and promote PC Optimum benefits regularly.
• Book and promote appointments for in-store events.
• Display and advocate for company products and services.
• Attend vendor training sessions and workshops.
• Strictly follow Cosmetics Operating Standards.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations along with store policies and loss prevention measures.
• Maintain professionalism and perform other assigned duties as needed.

Candidate Qualifications

• Sound judgment with decision-making capabilities.
• Independent thinking and proactive decision skills.
• Proven sales skills within the cosmetics domain.
• Strong consultative skills and experience in providing information.
• Demonstrated success in sales with an established track record.
• Good product knowledge of beauty and skincare items.
• Ability to conduct makeup and skincare consultations and demonstrate product application techniques.
• Excellent communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting items up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and reaching shelves.
• Able to bend and stretch for stocking purposes.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this role is $17.40 to $19.50, influenced by candidate experience, skill level, and geographic location. Artificial intelligence tools may be used during candidate screening and selection.
