About the Role

At Boots Ireland, our Beauty Specialists play a pivotal role in transforming the beauty experience in our stores. This distinctive sales position centers on engaging in-depth with customers to recommend the most suitable skincare, makeup, and haircare products from both iconic and trending ranges. You will offer sincere, knowledgeable guidance to help every customer enhance their beauty routine while driving sales through authentic, positive interactions.

• Work under the supervision of the Assistant Manager, handling all premium and luxury beauty lines with expert, impartial customer advice.
• Meet sales targets collaboratively, without performance commission, but benefit from up to €1000 annual product allowance to personally sample and endorse products.
• Utilize your communication and sales skills daily in a lively environment as you assist diverse customers.
• Maintain the appearance and stock of the beauty hall and makeup counters, ensuring testers and displays are clean, well-organized, and replenished throughout your shift.
• Participate in practical, expert-led training sessions with luxury brands and access an extensive online learning platform to deepen your beauty knowledge.
• Attend both virtual and live Boots conferences designed to deliver immersive educational experiences for Beauty Specialists.
• Opportunity to contribute to social media content creation, support store events, and engage in exciting company campaigns.

Requirements

• Demonstrable enthusiasm and passion for makeup, skincare, and haircare.
• A friendly and confident demeanour to initiate conversations with customers effectively.
• Strong motivation to achieve and surpass sales targets.
• Ability to maintain a brisk work pace in a busy retail setting.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
• A proactive attitude toward learning about new products, techniques, and available services.
• Previous experience working towards sales targets in beauty retail is advantageous.
• An interest or flair for creating social media content is a plus.
