About the role
As a Beauty Advisor with Sally Beauty Canada, you will be part of a major global hair and beauty supplier committed to helping customers express themselves through hair and beauty. The main focus of the role is to create a positive, memorable in-store experience. You may help customers with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nail products, while receiving product knowledge and training from the company.
Key duties
- Develop strong customer connections and encourage repeat business.
- Suggest related and complementary products based on customer needs.
- Share information about ongoing promotions, events, and special offers.
- Prepare promotional displays and arrange merchandise to showcase sales campaigns.
- Support customer enrollment in the loyalty program.
- Process purchases accurately and efficiently.
- Help maintain a polished store appearance and communicate inventory concerns.
- Follow the company’s culture and service values in daily work.
- Be available to work across a variety of schedules and hours, depending on store needs.

Physical requirements and working conditions
The job involves regular standing and walking, as well as repetitive bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching. You may also need to lift moderately heavy items such as shipment boxes or record boxes. Work may take place around moving parts, carts, or machines, and there can be occasional exposure to irritating chemicals, fumes, and odors.
