Job Overview

The Bartender is tasked with preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons. Responsibilities include engaging with guests, taking drink orders, mixing drinks skillfully, and maintaining a clean and stocked bar environment.

Key Attributes and Requirements

• Competent in making a diverse array of drinks, ideally supported by formal bartending education.
• Minimum of two years verified experience in food and beverage services.
• Compliance with local regulations concerning food safety and alcohol service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, approachable, and effective at communication.
• Physical stamina to stand most of the day, involving frequent bending and kneeling.
• Able to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills, together with familiarity in computer operation.
• Adaptability to work during night hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with cash registers and order management systems.
• Strong organizational abilities and capability to multitask in a fast-moving setting.
• Educational background including diploma, high school certificate, or equivalent preferred.
