About the Role

Join our bustling cafe team as a vital member who contributes to creating a delightful customer experience every day in our Perth location. This job involves a blend of food preparation, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Flexibility in working hours and progression opportunities are part of the package. We guarantee new employees a minimum of 8 hours weekly, with schedules assigned within given availability windows and at least three weeks' advance notice. Applicants must be 18 years old or older.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Provide prompt, attentive customer service.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards, keeping daily documentation.
• Apply the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method for stock rotation to ensure food freshness.
• Manage incoming deliveries and store food safely.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures diligently.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to standard, ensuring all products are available.
• Memorize the café menu to serve food correctly as intended.
• Handle customer complaints constructively and escalate issues to the Café Manager as needed.
• Stay informed about workplace communications and initiatives.
• Clean and sanitize tables to keep the café tidy.
