Role Summary

Fairmont The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia is looking for a polished, service-oriented Bartender to join its hospitality team. The position calls for someone who can prepare high-quality beverages, deliver attentive guest service, and contribute to a premium resort experience. You will represent the bar operation with professionalism, warmth, and a guest-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and serve a range of non-alcoholic drinks using approved recipes and tailoring service to guest preferences.
• Keep the bar area clean, orderly, and fully supplied, while ensuring tools and glassware remain in excellent condition.
• Offer informed suggestions about beverages and menu items to support a better guest experience.
• Accurately process sales through the POS system and manage cash and card transactions carefully.
• Track stock usage, help maintain inventory levels, place supply requests, and reduce unnecessary waste.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation requirements at all times.
• Work closely with both front-of-house and back-of-house colleagues to ensure smooth service.
• Interact with guests in a courteous, engaging, and professional way to encourage loyalty and repeat visits.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or similar upscale hospitality environment.
• Good working knowledge of mocktail preparation and standard beverage service practices.
• Ability to use POS systems and bar-related software confidently.
• Solid understanding of non-alcoholic beverage service.
• Strong capability in cash handling and inventory control.
• Excellent guest service skills and the ability to communicate well with a diverse clientele.
• Physical endurance to stand for long periods and perform effectively in a fast-moving setting.
• Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on cleanliness and presentation.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.
