Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced machine operator to support the Barline on the night shift, working from 10:00pm to 6:30am. This position suits someone who can handle high-speed production equipment, and prior experience in setting up and improving production lines will be an advantage.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate high-speed machinery safely and efficiently.
- Follow SOPs, quality standards, and all required documentation processes.
- Ensure products are manufactured and packed according to the correct procedures.
- Support line setup and ongoing line improvements where required.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and keep production moving.
Preferred Background
Experience in machine operation is important, and candidates with exposure to sheeting, mixing, enrobing, or chocolate tempering will be especially well regarded.

- Good mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting ability.
- The ability to lift up to 25kg on a fairly regular basis.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- A continuous improvement mindset and interest in doing work better.
- Comfort working independently as well as contributing to a team.
- Respect for health and safety practices at all times.
