About The Role

At The Beacon Cafe Hanham, the position of Barista places you at the heart of delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our visitors. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, taking customer orders, maintaining the cleanliness of the coffee station, and fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a Cafe Assistant, your duties include processing customer orders, serving food and drinks, cleaning tables, washing dishes, and contributing positively to the café’s welcoming environment.

Additional Details

• Work shifts are flexible and can be divided to accommodate availability.
• Volunteering opportunities are available with various projects including The Kingswood Kitchen, Food Club, Trinity Garden, Repair Cafe, Leg Club, and Young at Heart.
• The volunteer registration process involves submitting your personal information and preferences, after which a team member will contact you within approximately five days; delays may occur during busy periods due to the volunteer-run nature of the team.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.
