As a barista in our North Bay location, you will deliver the signature Starbucks Experience by providing exceptional service and crafting excellent beverages and food. You'll thrive in an energetic store environment, mastering your craft alongside peers and engaging with customers daily. Your role is vital as a kind moment in someone's day.

Responsibilities

• Interact warmly with customers to create a friendly and memorable experience.
• Prepare beverages and food items using standardized recipes or custom requests, including modifications like ingredient substitutions or temperature adjustments.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout your shift.
• Manage cash transactions and uphold store safety protocols with care.
• Collaboration with team members to maintain smooth store operations.
• Adapt to various duties within the store as needed during shifts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• No prior experience necessary; all necessary skills will be taught.
• Consistent punctuality and attendance, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to understand and meet store standards for quality products and customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Quick learner with the ability to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed.
• Capability to work cooperatively in a team environment and build positive relationships.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
