About the Role

Starbucks is looking for a part-time barista for Store #48809 in Ottawa, Ontario. This role is centered on creating a welcoming café experience, preparing beverages and food items to standard, and helping every customer leave with a positive impression.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver friendly, attentive service and help create a memorable customer experience.
• Prepare drinks and food items according to standard recipes or customer-specific modifications.
• Handle cash and follow store safety, cleanliness, and security practices.
• Switch between different store duties throughout each shift as needed.
• Keep the workspace organized, clean, and ready for service.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates to understand needs and respond appropriately.

Experience and Qualifications

• No prior work experience is needed.

• You must be able to follow store operating standards and provide quality beverages and food items, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• You should be able to understand oral and written instructions and ask for clarification when necessary.
