About the Role
Become part of an inclusive and vibrant team as a Starbucks Barista in Calgary, where every cup serves to connect people and enrich community spirit. As a key member of the store team, you'll deliver the renowned Starbucks Experience by expertly crafting beverages and providing exceptional service in a dynamic, friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create customized food and beverage items following standard and modified recipes to suit customer preferences.
- Engage warmly and effectively with customers, identifying and responding to their individual needs.
- Maintain high standards of store safety, cleanliness, and organization at all times.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly and adhere to store policies and procedures.
- Collaborate actively with team members during various store tasks and operations throughout shifts.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrate reliability with consistent punctuality and attendance, with or without accommodations.
- Work flexible shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Have strong communication abilities to understand and respond to verbal and written instructions and customer interactions.
- Exhibit a willingness to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Show team spirit with interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships.
- Maintain composure and professionalism during busy periods.
