About the Role
Starbucks is hiring a barista for Store #22729 in Fernie, British Columbia. This role is centered on creating a welcoming café experience, serving handcrafted drinks and food, and helping every customer enjoy a positive moment in the store.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver friendly, attentive service and help create a strong customer experience.
- Prepare beverages and food items according to standard recipes or customer-specific changes.

- Keep the workspace clean, orderly, and ready for service.
- Work across different tasks during a shift as needed.
- Stay engaged with customers, identify their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
What You Need
- No prior work experience is necessary.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to follow store standards and operating procedures.
- Comfort with a fast-moving, energetic environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building abilities.
- Willingness to learn quickly and follow both spoken and written instructions.
