Role Overview

As a barista, you will help create the Starbucks Experience by delivering exceptional customer service and preparing quality beverages and food items. You'll thrive in a fast-paced and friendly environment, mastering your craft while working alongside colleagues and meeting customers daily. Brewing coffee and sharing a smile can brighten someone's day, and our baristas truly create those moments.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Engage warmly with customers, understanding and responding to their needs with clear, pleasant communication.
• Craft food and beverage orders precisely according to standard or customized recipes, including adjustments for ingredients or temperatures.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain store safety protocols.
• Keep your workspace clean and organized.
• Work collaboratively with your team to deliver a positive store environment.
• Adapt to various tasks throughout your shift as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• No prior experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and seek clarification when necessary.
• Capable of maintaining calm and composure in a lively, busy setting.
• Commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to build positive relationships within the team and with customers.
