About the Role
Become a vital part of Starbucks by delivering exceptional service and crafting quality beverages in a lively store atmosphere. As a Starbucks barista, you will create memorable experiences for customers, foster connections within the community, and work collaboratively with fellow partners in a spirit of warmth and belonging.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage warmly with customers to provide an outstanding Starbucks Experience through excellent service and well-prepared drinks and food.
- Work as an integral team member, effectively collaborating to maintain a positive work environment.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain store safety protocols efficiently.
- Ensure the store environment is kept clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
- Adapt and learn quickly, especially mastering new beverage recipes and preparation techniques.
- Maintain composure and productivity in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Qualifications and Requirements
- No prior experience required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Consistent and punctual attendance, with flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to follow store policies including quality standards for food and beverage preparation, cash handling, and safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills to engage customers effectively and understand their needs.
- Capability to perform multiple tasks during shifts and carry out instructions both verbally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and function well within a team.
