Barista – Specialty Coffee Shop

Role Overview

Little Kitchen Help Ltd is hiring a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join a specialty coffee shop in Doha, Qatar. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with coffee, takes pride in great customer service, and can consistently prepare high-quality drinks in a busy café setting.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare espresso-based drinks and specialty coffee beverages according to company quality standards.
• Use and care for espresso machines, grinders, and related coffee-making equipment.
• Apply solid knowledge of coffee beans, brewing approaches, and drink preparation methods.
• Produce latte art and keep drink presentation consistent from cup to cup.
• Greet guests warmly, handle orders accurately, and deliver attentive service.
• Keep the coffee bar, equipment, and customer-facing areas clean and hygienic.
• Track stock, support inventory checks, and help with opening and closing duties.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace hygiene requirements.
• Work closely with teammates to create a strong overall customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 to 2 years of barista experience, ideally in a specialty coffee environment.
• Good understanding of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and brewing techniques.
• Latte art skills are beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and close attention to detail.
• Good spoken English; knowing additional languages is a plus.
