Role overview
Apt Resources is hiring customer-oriented baristas for its client in Montenegro, Europe. The position suits someone who enjoys a lively hospitality setting, can work efficiently under pressure, and has hands-on experience making specialty coffee drinks.
What you’ll do
- Prepare specialty coffees, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other café drinks in line with company standards.
- Use and look after espresso machines, grinders, and related coffee equipment.
- Deliver warm, professional, and efficient service to guests.
- Take orders accurately and handle payments when needed.
- Keep beverage quality, taste, and presentation consistent throughout the day.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the coffee counter and seating area according to food safety rules.
- Track stock movement and support inventory restocking.
- Observe all health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
- Work closely with the team to keep café operations running smoothly.
- Respond to customer questions and resolve issues in a professional manner.
What we’re looking for
- A high school diploma or similar qualification; hospitality, food and beverage, or barista training is a plus.
- Prior experience working as a barista in a busy café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment.
- Good understanding of specialty coffee, brewing techniques, espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art.
- Strong spoken and written English plus good interpersonal skills.
- A guest-first approach and solid customer service ability.
- The ability to stay accurate and productive in a fast-moving environment.
- A professional look, positive attitude, and strong teamwork habits.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Candidate must currently be in the UAE.
Benefits
The package includes a net salary of EUR 700, tips, a monthly performance bonus equal to 2% of the outlet’s revenue shared among eligible team members, and shared accommodation.
