Barista

Overview

As a Barista at Café Mundi located in Berlin, Germany, you will be responsible for preparing premium coffee, matcha, chai, and tea specialties alongside selected beverages and light meals, ensuring consistent quality. Your duties include greeting and serving customers, taking orders, handling payments, and providing warm, attentive service. Maintaining cleanliness and care of coffee machines, workstations, and dining area, restocking supplies, and following hygiene protocols are essential parts of the role. This full-time position requires working onsite in Berlin.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable courteous, clear, and respectful interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Proven barista experience with expertise in operating coffee machines, grinders, and varied preparation methods such as espresso, filter coffee, and specialty drinks.
• Experience in customer service managing busy periods, handling complaints professionally, and fostering a loyal customer base.
• Knowledge in food and beverage preparation including basic culinary skills and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
