About the Company

Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea is being developed within Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Red Sea Project, a nature-led destination designed around sustainability and luxury hospitality. The property will feature 361 guest rooms, eleven dining concepts, including overwater venues with views of the Red Sea and mangroves, along with a spa. It will be located beside an 18-hole championship golf course and set across 200 km of pristine coastline, more than 90 untouched islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine life, and historic archaeological sites.

Role Overview

The resort is looking for an accomplished Bar Supervisor to manage beverage operations in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This position is responsible for day-to-day bar performance, consistent service quality, team supervision, and smooth operational delivery in a luxury resort setting. The role calls for confident leadership, a strong service mindset, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee bar personnel, including shift planning, coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing development to build a strong team.
• Keep tight control over stock, track beverage levels, and place orders in a way that supports availability while controlling costs.
• Make sure all health, safety, sanitation, and local hospitality rules in Saudi Arabia are followed.
• Provide high-quality guest service by maintaining standards and resolving customer issues quickly and professionally.
• Use POS tools and beverage management systems to record sales, monitor inventory, and review staff output.
• Create and refine beverage offerings, including mocktails and other non-alcoholic drinks, in line with resort standards and guest tastes.
• Review beverage costs, pricing, and margins to support financial goals.
• Run regular training sessions on drink knowledge, service methods, and guest interaction.
• Handle disagreements constructively and help maintain a cooperative, motivated workplace.
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth service and a consistent guest experience.

Requirements

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in supervisory or management roles in bars, restaurants, or hospitality operations.
• Background in beverage management within a luxury hotel or resort is required.
• Good understanding of non-alcoholic drinks, mocktails, and professional beverage service standards.
• Comfort using POS platforms and inventory control software.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the capability to coach and inspire a team.
• Excellent guest-service focus and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to review beverage costs, manage budgets, and improve profitability.
• Working knowledge of hospitality health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Well-organized, able to manage time effectively, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with Saudi hospitality expectations and cultural practices is preferred.
• Hospitality management or beverage service certification would be an added advantage.
