About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic, fun, and passionate individuals to join our dedicated team at The Standing Order pub in Stevenage. No prior experience is necessary as we provide a comprehensive award-winning training program to equip you with all the skills required. Whether you desire a long-term career path or just want to pick up additional shifts, if you are dependable, friendly, and enjoy working collaboratively, this position may suit you perfectly.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately take orders and prepare, dispense, and serve beverages either at the bar or through the customer app.
- Serve food to patrons, conduct timely check-backs, and clear tables swiftly.
- Engage customers with a warm greeting, show appreciation, and build strong rapport.
- Stay informed about ongoing promotions, events, and new product offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness standards by clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and performing routine restroom checks as part of our 'clean as you go' policy.
- Support various duties including glass washing, restocking fridges, and clearing floors and beer gardens as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive pay rate of £12.81 per hour.

- An additional £1 per hour for shifts between midnight and 5:59 am.

Working Hours and Flexibility
Our pubs operate from early morning to late night providing flexible shift options including mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes with an average of approximately 10 hours per week. Workdays are flexible throughout the week.
