Role overview

This position is based at Pedn Olva in St Ives, a standout hotel and hospitality venue set above the sea with far-reaching views over the harbour and bay. The site draws both residents and tourists, thanks to its bar and sunlit terrace, while the wider town is known for its beaches, narrow streets, and lively mix of galleries, cafés, and shops.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys a lively, busy atmosphere and wants to be part of a skilled hospitality team. In this bar and waiting role, you’ll do more than serve drinks and food; you’ll help create positive guest experiences, build rapport with regular customers, and contribute to a welcoming environment.

What you’ll do

  • Support service across the bar and dining areas.
  • Help deliver friendly, memorable experiences for guests.
  • Build strong relationships with regular visitors.
  • Work with the wider front-of-house team to keep service flowing smoothly.
  • Maintain a tidy, clean, and welcoming environment.
