Role overview
TAWANTECH is hiring a meticulous Software Tester focused on integration work for its banking technology team in Riyadh. The role centers on checking that banking platforms, middleware, APIs, and external services communicate correctly and reliably across distributed systems.
The selected professional will help ensure that integrations perform as expected, data stays consistent between connected systems, and testing outcomes align with banking quality expectations and delivery timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Create, refine, and run integration test scenarios and detailed test cases.
- Confirm smooth end-to-end communication between banking applications, middleware layers, APIs, and third-party platforms.
- Review business and functional specifications to determine integration testing coverage.
- Carry out system integration testing, regression checks, smoke tests, and functional test cycles.
- Log, monitor, retest, and close defects using defect management software.
- Work in coordination with business analysts, developers, solution architects, and project managers.
- Check API calls and responses with suitable testing tools.
- Compare records across integrated applications and databases to ensure data accuracy.
- Take part in requirement walkthroughs and contribute testing input during reviews.
- Assist with user acceptance testing when needed.
- Keep testing activities aligned with banking standards and project schedules.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing, specifically with integration testing exposure.
- Background in banking or financial services is strongly preferred.
- Practical experience testing and integrating Temenos T24 is highly preferred.
- Clear understanding of STLC and SDLC principles.
- Experience using API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or comparable applications.
- Working knowledge of SQL for validating database data.
- Familiarity with defect management platforms like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication along with documentation skills.
