Job Overview and Responsibilities
As a Banking Executive based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, you will provide vital assistance to customers regarding account management and banking services. Your daily tasks will include supporting account opening processes, verifying Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, managing cash transactions such as deposits and withdrawals, processing cheque transactions, and facilitating fund transfers.
You will promote various banking products including savings and current accounts, fixed deposits, insurance policies, loans, and credit cards to meet customer needs. Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service will be a key focus, along with resolving customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
Ensuring adherence to banking policies, Reserve Bank of India regulations, and internal procedures will be essential. You'll also verify customer documentation, maintain accurate records, and support daily branch operations and administrative duties. Collaboration with other bank departments to guarantee seamless banking services, meeting assigned business and sales targets without compromising service quality, and safeguarding customer information confidentiality are integral parts of this role.
Furthermore, assisting customers with digital banking offerings such as mobile banking, internet banking, and ATM services is expected.
