Job description

About the Role

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and expert Band 7 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join their large MSK team. This role offers a structured supervision program and access to internal and external training opportunities. The successful candidate will have the chance to lead a small team and contribute to staff development. The service supports undergraduate students on placement and provides MSK physiotherapy to patients in Enfield and South Hertfordshire. The position is based at Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield, with potential work at outreach clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive specialist physiotherapeutic assessments for patients with diverse and complex physical and psychological conditions.
  • Provide clinical diagnoses and develop/deliver individualized treatment plans.
  • Contribute to and support the implementation of practice changes and service protocols under guidance.
  • Autonomously manage all clinical duties as a practitioner.
  • Liaise effectively with GPs, Consultants, and other professional staff to foster strong working relationships.
  • Develop and demonstrate specialist skills in musculoskeletal care and support management in an agreed area.

About the Trust

North Mid is part of the North Central London integrated care system, collaborating with local authority organizations across Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. The Trust is committed to staff training to ensure excellent clinical care and is a training unit for medical students from UCL and St George’s University Grenada, as well as nursing and midwifery students from Middlesex and City Universities.
