About the role

For the Gilserberg location, we are looking for a confectionery specialist who enjoys working with craftsmanship, creativity, and care. The company values traditional recipes and high-quality raw ingredients sourced from the region, which helps ensure consistent product quality. A transparent list of ingredients and raw materials is part of the promise made to customers.

The business operates more than 90 sites across North, Central, and East Hesse and employs over 1,300 people, including more than 60 apprentices. Despite its size, it still sees itself as a family-run company that keeps close contact with each employee.

What the job involves

• Preparing a range of baked goods and the dough needed for them.
• Following recipes accurately and maintaining defined quality standards.
• Monitoring and looking after ovens and other production equipment.
• Keeping the bakery area clean and making sure hygiene rules are always followed.
• Helping to create new products and new variations.

What we are looking for

• Completed training as a confectioner/pâtissier.
• Previous work experience in a bakery or confectionery shop is an advantage.
• Genuine enthusiasm for the trade and a strong eye for detail.
• Experience handling food products.
• Ability to work well in a team, punctuality, and reliability.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Motivation to learn and a dependable, punctual attitude.
• Good spoken and written German at B1/B2 level.
