Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the bakery for opening by setting up ovens and equipment each morning.
• Check and maintain the quality of all ingredients used, adhering strictly to recipes.
• Measure, weigh, knead, and form dough accurately.
• Follow steps for dough proofing, resting, and baking to meet quality standards.
• Bake products with attention to timing and quality control.
• Innovate and create new baked items to enhance the product range.
• Package and arrange bakery items daily ready for sale.
• Manage inventory by ordering and organising kitchen supplies efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong attention to detail in selecting quality ingredients.
• Experience in precise ingredient measurement and mixing techniques.
• Knowledge of dough handling including kneading and proofing processes.
• Confidence using bakery ovens and related equipment.
• Good organisational ability to maintain smooth daily bakery functions.
• A creative mindset oriented towards product development.
