Role Overview
As a Baker, you will take charge of ensuring our bakery produces fresh, artisan breads and treats every day. You'll begin your shift with an empty bakery and help fill it with quality baked goods for customers to enjoy. Prior experience in baking is not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are valued most.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a small team to prepare baked goods each morning following precise recipes.
- Assist in maintaining a clean bakery and contribute to delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Interpret production schedules and recipes to measure, mix, mold, shape dough, and operate ovens.
- Promote a positive work culture and support team success.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Ability to start early and work both independently and within a team setting.
- Take pride in providing quality products to the community.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to your own growth and the success of the team and bakery.
Physical Demands
- Continuous walking and standing throughout the shift.
- Regular lifting and carrying of items up to 22 kg.
- Frequent reaching, turning, and occasional pushing or pulling tasks.
- Capable of lifting at least 2.5 kg up to 1.7 meters high.
- Constant use of both hands, including wrist rotation and some forceful gripping.
