Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a responsible and experienced individual to join our team as a Bahnerder (Electrically Trained Person - EuP). This critical position ensures the electrical safety of overhead line systems, installing grounding cables to protect track and overhead line workers in and around Osnabrück. Positions are available on a full-time or part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and inspect grounding cables on overhead line installations.
- Ensure the work environment is free from electrical hazards for personnel working on tracks or overhead lines.
- Carry out grounding procedures following safety standards and protocols.
- Coordinate with overhead line teams and track personnel for smooth operation of tasks.
- Document executed grounding activities and report to supervisors.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Good visual and auditory capabilities.
- Possession of a car driving license is desirable.
- Physical fitness and psychological suitability (to be assessed).
- Proficient German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to duty.
