Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible and experienced individual to join our team as a Bahnerder (Elektrisch unterwiesene Person - EuP) to ensure the safety of overhead electrical systems by installing and verifying grounding cables around railway tracks. This role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis located in and around Osnabrück.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and inspect grounding cables on overhead line equipment.
  • Ensure a safe, de-energized working environment for track and overhead line crews.
  • Conduct grounding procedures in compliance with applicable safety standards and protocols.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other teams including overhead line and track personnel to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Document all grounding activities and provide reports to supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Good visual and auditory capabilities.
  • Possession of a driver’s license is preferred.
  • Physical fitness and psychological suitability as verified by assessments.
  • Proficient in German, both spoken and written.
  • Demonstrated commitment, reliability, and punctuality.
