Job Overview
This role involves overseeing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure including components such as virtual machines, storage solutions, networking configurations, and security management. The position requires constant monitoring and prompt resolution of any issues within Azure resources to maintain optimal system uptime and performance. Collaboration with software development teams is essential to conceive and deploy scalable cloud architectures using the Microsoft Azure platform. Additionally, consistent backup procedures for Azure resources must be implemented to support business resilience in failure scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administrate Azure infrastructure layers covering VMs, storage, network, and security.
- Conduct continuous monitoring and troubleshooting of Azure services to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Work in concert with development teams to architect and deploy scalable, robust solutions on Azure.
- Maintain regular backups for Azure-based assets to secure data integrity and business continuity.
Candidate Requirements
- Presents between five to seven years of experience in roles centered on Azure cloud administration or equivalent positions.
- Possesses solid expertise in Azure services administration, emphasizing virtual machine management, storage options, network setups, and cloud security.
- Familiar with monitoring utilities such as Logic Monitor or comparable tools to track performance and incidents.
