Job description
About the Company
Riyadh Air is a new national carrier based in Saudi Arabia’s capital. The airline is building a digitally native operation designed to help transform the Kingdom into a major global aviation and trade center, with service planned to more than 100 destinations.
About the Role
This position is for a security specialist who will play a central role in protecting safe, smooth, and compliant airline operations in a fast-changing international environment.
You will support the daily execution of aviation security controls and ensure they are carried out in line with GACA NCASP, the Air Operator Security Programme (AOSP), ICAO standards, and the Security Management System.
Your work will include checking security processes at aircraft stands, screening locations, baggage handling areas, and access-controlled zones so that only approved people and items can enter secure spaces.
The role also involves performing inspections, overseeing aircraft protection procedures, assisting with screening operations, and handling security events and alarms according to regulatory expectations.
In addition, you will help assess threats, track regional and station-level intelligence, share relevant security impacts with the right teams, and contribute to security training efforts that improve overall capability across the organization.
Every task in this role supports safety, regulatory compliance, and constant vigilance to help protect passengers, employees, and assets.
About You
You should hold a degree and have at least 4 years of experience in aviation security, airport operations, law enforcement, or a similar security-focused position.
Hands-on exposure to patrols, observation, and reporting in an airport or critical infrastructure setting is required.
Working knowledge of NCASP, ICAO Annex 17, and Doc 8973 is essential.
Preference will be given to candidates who can also write processes and procedures to support SeMS and AOSP documentation.
Additional Information
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of air travel with Riyadh Air. Applicants are expected to submit their application through the employer’s application process. The talent acquisition team will review submissions shortly.
