About The Role
Join The Warehouse as an Availability Manager, taking charge of the Nightfill team to ensure the store is fully prepared each morning for customers. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about people development and delivering high standards in a dynamic retail setting.
Working Hours
This full-time position requires working 45 hours per week, specifically from Tuesday to Saturday, 12:30pm to 10:00pm. Applicants must be available for all these days and times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the Nightfill team to achieve exceptional results.
- Foster a positive, safe, and supportive work environment.
- Hands-on leadership focusing on developing team members and celebrating their achievements.
- Effectively plan and organise tasks, managing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Maintain high standards despite the fast-paced and sometimes chaotic nature of retail operations.
- Communicate clearly with all levels of staff and handle challenging conversations professionally.
Requirements
- At least two years of management experience within retail, demonstrating the ability to lead shifts, manage personnel, and oversee store operations.
- Proven expertise in hiring, training, and inspiring teams to perform optimally.
- Strong operational competency under pressure, adept at prioritising tasks and making prompt decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to brief teams and engage in difficult discussions.
- Experience in retail stock management or replenishment, with hands-on knowledge of merchandising, inventory movement, and stockroom operations.
