Role Overview
The Automotive Warranty Clerk serves a crucial role connecting the service department, technicians, and manufacturer representatives. You will ensure warranty claims are handled with precision, compliance, and timeliness, underpinning high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate processing of warranty claims.
- Reviewing repair orders and technician comments to confirm claim eligibility.
- Monitoring claim progress and reconciling payments received.
- Communicating with manufacturer representatives regarding audits and policy updates.
- Assisting the Service Manager with compiling warranty-related reports.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in warranty administration, service support, or automotive office roles.
- Working knowledge of Dealer Management Systems such as Pentana or ERA.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional confidence.
- Organized and proactive with effective time management abilities.
- Previous experience in an automotive dealership is highly advantageous.
