Role overview

Northland Toyota is looking for an extra Service Advisor to strengthen its friendly and professional team in Whangārei, Northland. This position suits someone who enjoys helping customers, takes pride in delivering a high standard of service, and is driven to achieve strong results.

In this role, you will be the main point of contact between customers and the workshop team. Your focus will be on offering dependable guidance, keeping communication clear and timely, and making sure every customer leaves with a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to customer questions and provide practical advice on vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • Arrange bookings for service and repair work.
  • Deliver consistent service that supports customer satisfaction.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of customer conversations and interactions.
  • Recognise customer issues and help resolve them appropriately.
  • Maintain a courteous, professional, and approachable manner at all times.
  • Update customer details and manage account information carefully.
  • Work closely with workshop staff so customer needs are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

About you

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be confident working on their own, and be able to manage several tasks at once without compromising quality or accuracy. Experience in the automotive industry is useful, though not essential.

You should also be comfortable performing well in a busy, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment, with strong attention to detail and solid time management.
