Automotive Detailer - Full Time in Ottawa

Job Overview

Enterprise Mobility is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Automotive Detailer to join their team located at 1788 Bank Street, Ottawa, ON K1V 7Y6. The role offers an hourly wage of 18.50 CAD and a consistent 40-hour weekly schedule. This position emphasizes maintaining superior vehicle cleanliness and safety standards to provide an excellent customer rental experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning, sanitizing, vacuuming of vehicle interiors following industry-leading procedures.
• Wash, dry, and clean vehicle exteriors including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Inspect vehicles for fuel levels, warning lights, windshield damages, and reset factory settings to remove previous customer data.
• Secure customer belongings by transferring valuables to Lost & Found and verify registration compliance with license plates.
• Check and replenish fluid levels, assess tire condition, pressure, and tread depth, and inspect for any exterior damages.
• Stage and fuel vehicles appropriately according to operational needs.
• Identify any safety issues, report warnings or damages, and remove unsafe vehicles from preparation procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces, promptly addressing any hazards.
• Utilize equipment such as carpet shampooers and air purifiers to eliminate stains, odors, and pet hair.
• Support customers when required, including providing transportation to and from branches.
• Keep branch sites tidy by cleaning interiors and exteriors, including offices, floors, restrooms, and parking lots.
• Undertake routine cleaning tasks encompassing desktops, phones, trash removal, and sweeping.

Additional Duties

• Commit to continuous improvement through self-evaluation, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Ontario G or G2 driver's license with no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last three years.
• No drug or alcohol-related driving convictions within the past five years.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Ability to lift items up to 25 pounds to assist customers.
• Availability to work the following shifts—Wednesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Sunday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, except for religious observances.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
