Work Schedule

• Monday: 8:00am–5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am–5:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am–5:00pm
• Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm on a rotating basis
• Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am–4:00pm on a rotating basis

Role Summary

This position plays a key part in keeping rental vehicles clean, sanitized, inspected, and ready for customers. The focus is on maintaining very high cleanliness and safety standards and supporting a professional branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and ready vehicle interiors according to standard procedures
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks of different sizes
• Review fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to remove previous customer data; check for items left behind and place valuables in Lost & Found; confirm registration is current and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and top up when needed; assess tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect the exterior for damage
• Refuel and stage vehicles for the next use
• Look for safety issues, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from prep if needed
• Keep the work area neat and organized and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Use equipment such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors
• Help customers when necessary, including possible transportation between branches
• Support the overall appearance of the site by cleaning interior and exterior branch areas
• Handle general cleanliness tasks such as cleaning desks, counters, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and the lot
• Work on self-improvement through feedback, skills development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
• Carry out other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past three years
• No drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record within the last five years
• Authorization to work in Canada without needing current or future sponsorship
• Ability to lift 25 pounds to help customers
• Availability to work the listed schedule, including rotating Thursdays and rotating Saturdays
• Must be at least 18 years old
