Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Overview

Enterprise Mobility is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Automotive Detailers. Both full-time and part-time roles are available at the Albany, NY location (900 Central Ave). The position offers an hourly wage of $18 with merit-based annual raises contingent on performance.

Work Schedule

A flexible schedule is offered with full-time employees eligible for up to 40 hours per week and part-time employees up to 25 hours weekly. Scheduling requires working on Mondays and includes at least one weekend shift every other weekend.

Job Duties

• Clean and sanitize vehicle interiors thoroughly, including vacuuming following industry best practices
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors across a range of vehicle types including cars, vans, and trucks
• Conduct inspections to verify fuel levels, dashboard warning lights, windshield condition, and reset factory settings to clear past user data
• Identify and collect customer belongings, securing valuables in Lost & Found
• Ensure vehicle registration documentation is current and matches license plates
• Check fluid levels, tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; conduct thorough exterior inspections for damage
• Fuel vehicles and prepare them for customer rental
• Address any safety risks or damages by reporting warning lights and removing affected vehicles from service
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, reporting hazards when found
• Use specialized equipment like carpet shampooers and air purifiers to remove stains, odors, and pet hair
• Assist customers as needed, including possible transportation to and from branch locations
• Maintain the cleanliness of branch sites including desks, counters, phones, floors, bathrooms, parking lots, and manage trash removal

• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality
• Complete various other assigned duties related to the position

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license is required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without need for future visa sponsorship
• English literacy in reading, writing, and comprehension required
• Applicants should reside within about a 1-hour commute of the Albany location
• Minimum of six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience is necessary
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old
