Australian Voice Actor for AI & Media Projects

Responsibilities

• Read and record scripts with crisp pronunciation, a natural speaking style, and the right tone for each task.
• Shift between different emotions, character voices, and delivery styles as needed for the project.
• Adhere to recording guidelines, pronunciation rules, and script-specific instructions.
• Produce audio that is clear, professionally recorded, and free from background noise or technical flaws.
• Check recordings carefully before submission to ensure they are complete, accurate, and consistent.
• Work to project timelines and recording targets.
• Flag any unclear script points, technical problems, or recording difficulties to the project team.
• Keep a professional approach and consistent delivery across all submissions.

Requirements

• Native-level or near-native fluency in Australian English.
• Strong clarity in speech, articulation, and pronunciation.
• Comfort adapting pace, tone, emotion, and speaking style to match project needs.
• Good reading comprehension and the ability to interpret scripts correctly.
• A dependable internet connection and a quiet place to record.
• Basic computer literacy and the ability to work with online recording tools.
• Capability to work alone and follow detailed instructions precisely.
• Prior work in voice acting, voice-over, podcasting, broadcasting, or similar audio roles is an advantage.
• Experience recording for AI, speech recognition, audiobooks, gaming, or media projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with audio recording and editing software is beneficial.
• Access to professional-grade recording gear, such as a quality microphone and a sound-treated space, is preferred.
