Typical Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients primarily within the Financial Services sector. This includes ensuring quality and excellence in service delivery, overseeing all stages of the audit engagement cycle, and providing strategic leadership.

• Lead management of complex audit portfolios involving new and existing clients.
• Guide engagement teams with expert advice on accounting standards, risk evaluation, and audit resolutions while maintaining professional skepticism to uphold quality and ethical standards.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for new technologies and conduct training on regulatory and industry standards to keep the team current.
• Build and enhance team skills, adaptability, and resilience while efficiently allocating resources for audit engagements.
• Collaborate with leaders regionally and globally, including the Caribbean and Bermuda.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking candidates for two levels:

Audit Manager

• Possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant discipline, or equivalent qualifications such as ACCA.
• Hold an internationally recognized professional accounting certification like ACA, ACCA, CA, or CPA.
• Accumulate between 4 to 6 years of progressive audit experience.
• Demonstrate project management expertise, including leading audits or segments, mentoring and coaching junior staff, and reviewing their work.

Senior Audit Manager

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent (e.g., ACCA).
• Possess an international accounting designation such as ACA, ACCA, CA, or CPA.
• Have a minimum of 7 years progressive audit experience, with exposure to banking and insurance sectors.
• Bring at least 3 years of proven leadership in team and practice management, alongside experience managing senior client relationships.
• Demonstrate experience in supporting business expansion and handling large client engagements.
