About Scope Group and Role Overview
Scope Group is a prominent European credit rating and analysis provider seeking a skilled Jira Administrator with a background in software development and business analysis. This role focuses on digitizing and optimizing business processes across different departments, integrating Jira with various data sources and reporting tools to elevate process efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance existing Jira (Business, Software & Service Desk) environments including workflows, automations, permissions, notifications, dashboards, filters, and reports; strengthen Jira security measures.
- Perform comprehensive Jira and Confluence administration tasks: backups, restores, system cloning, testing updates for compatibility, and user management.
- Track and communicate project milestones effectively to stakeholders; gather business requirements and create thorough analysis documentation.
- Support Jira Data Center migration to Jira Cloud through planning, execution, and transition support.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to translate departmental business processes into Jira projects; serve as a liaison between departments for seamless cooperation.
- Partner with IT teams to integrate Jira projects with diverse data sources and reporting technologies.
- Research and leverage industry-standard Jira add-ons and technologies.
- Build lasting partnerships with technical and business colleagues, ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer on Jira projects and integrations to various stakeholders.
Professional and Personal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
- Hands-on experience managing Jira projects and Linux system administration or Atlassian tools management.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Software Developer or equivalent coding expertise.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Mandatory experience with ScriptRunner and Groovy scripting.
- Additional skills in Relational Databases and SQL, Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, and Power Apps are beneficial.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and documentation abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, engaging effectively with various organizational levels and business units.
- Willingness to embrace new technologies and tools.
- Capability to handle deadlines, manage stress in demanding environments, and encourage others.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality.
- Fluent written and spoken English required; German language proficiency is a plus.
Compensation and Additional Information
The remuneration for this position ranges between 68,400 and 84,000 EUR, with discretionary bonuses. Scope offers a comprehensive benefits package to its employees.
