Role Overview
We seek an Associate Vice President (AVP) of Sales Enablement to architect and guide our global sales enablement initiatives. This executive role involves equipping the sales force with tools, capabilities, and frameworks to improve revenue results, product uptake, and operational excellence across all company segments worldwide. The AVP will lead the product-aligned enablement team and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Sales Leadership to ensure unified strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and steer the global sales enablement strategy in alignment with revenue objectives, go-to-market plans, and growth targets.
- Lead enablement efforts for product and solution lines, ensuring coherent positioning and messaging across all portfolios.
- Create and manage a global go-to-market readiness model that prepares Sales teams ahead of product launches.
- Oversee sales enablement programs including onboarding, product training, selling skills development, and certification schemes.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to enhance adoption of sales processes and technologies such as CRM and AI tools.
- Build and refine the sales enablement operating model, managing intake, prioritization, and roadmaps.
- Define metrics and frameworks that tie enablement activities to business outcomes like sales pipeline growth, win rates, and deal velocity.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership to align enablement priorities with field requirements and objectives.
- Integrate AI-driven capabilities into enablement to enable personalized learning, content delivery, and workflow guidance.
Qualifications and Experience
- 8 to 10 years in sales enablement, sales operations, or go-to-market strategy with proven success in leading global enablement teams and delivering measurable business improvements.
- 5 to 8 years managing large, cross-functional teams at senior leadership levels.
- Preferred experience in B2B technology sectors such as SaaS and IoT.
- Strong background in global strategy execution and comprehensive understanding of revenue operations.
- Expertise in value-driven solution selling and enabling customer lifecycle strategies including cross-selling and expansion.
- Proficient in defining performance metrics and handling complex data for executive reporting.
- Familiar with sales technology infrastructure and leveraging AI to enhance enablement.
- Skilled in operationalizing strategic plans with robust problem-solving in dynamic environments.
- Effective at engaging with senior stakeholders across departments through strong communication and alliance-building.
- Certifications in sales methodologies (like MEDDIC, Challenger, CHAMP) or enablement/AI-related programs are advantageous.
