Job description
Role Overview
Northrop Grumman is looking for an Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner to support hiring across its Aeronautics sector. In this position, you will act as a strategic recruiting partner, helping build the teams that support the company’s mission and long-term growth. The role focuses on full-cycle recruiting, close coordination with hiring leaders, and contributing to workforce planning and talent strategy.
This opportunity is tied to one of the Aeronautics site locations and requires on-site support as business needs allow. Some travel is expected.
What You Will Do
- Manage the complete recruiting process through offer stage, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, selection support, and offer handling.
- Serve as the main recruiting contact and advisor for assigned business leaders.
- Guide hiring managers on interview practices, candidate assessment, and hiring decisions.
- Run strategy discussions to clarify role needs and hiring timelines.
- Share labor market intelligence, candidate behavior insights, and compensation context with hiring teams.
- Monitor and report recruiting metrics for talent acquisition and business leadership.
- Develop talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship-building.
- Evaluate candidates for technical fit, alignment with company values, and mission compatibility.
- Maintain accurate recruiting data and follow internal processes and procedures.
- Work with cross-functional partners to create a smooth and positive candidate experience.
What the Company Is Looking For
The company wants someone with a bachelor’s degree, the ability to travel up to 20%, and proximity to one of the Aeronautics sector sites: El Segundo, CA; Palmdale, CA; San Diego, CA; Clearfield, UT; Oklahoma City, OK; or Melbourne, FL.
Strong candidates will be comfortable influencing stakeholders using data, stay current with recruiting trends, communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and work effectively in ambiguous, matrixed environments.
Additional Role Details
No relocation assistance is available for this position. A security clearance is not required to start, and the clearance type is listed as none. Travel is noted as 25% of the time in the role details, while the qualification section states a minimum ability to travel up to 20%.
The posted salary range is $51,500 to $94,600 annually. Compensation may also include overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus, depending on the position. Eligible employees may also receive benefits such as health coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation or personal business.
The application window is estimated to remain open for about 20 days from the posting date, though it may be shortened or extended based on business needs and candidate availability.
